Alawna Collier

Alawna Collier was the first born daughter to Gizelle Collier on August 31, 2002. She was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri.

Alawna was educated at KIPP Endeavor and graduated from Hogan Prep High, Class of 2020.  She was an amazing, self taught Makeup Artist, who started her own Makeup business in 2021.

Alawna was very outgoing and lovable, with a smile that warms your heart and a contagious laugh to brighten your day. Alawna loved spending time with her siblings and was a highly involved, wonderful big sister. She spent a lot of time with her family singing, dancing, playing Uno, board games, and laughing to tears. She loved to travel, especially to the beach. Alawna never missed the  opportunity to take a picture. She enjoyed painting and art, one of her proudest accomplishments was her contribution to the mural painted while at Lincoln Prep.

Alawna loved children and had a life long dream of becoming a Doula. She always had fun times with her baby brother and ALWAYS caught her baby sisters in her belongings. She was a fierce protector of her family and close friends. Alawna moved through this life with confidence, bravery, strength, and an unmatched realness.

With a creative mind, sparkling personality, and music in her soul, Alawna  departed from this life on Friday, February 3, 2023.
