Amelia Bolton, 75, of Independence, Missouri, passed away May 13, 2026. She was born June 6, 1950, to Claude Bolton, Sr. and Annie Lee Bolton. Amelia married Robert L. Robinson, Sr., on December 4, 1987.

Amelia is survived by her siblings, Dr. Col. Jose Bolton, Tommas A. Bolton, Eastley James Bolton Sr., and Maryann Hirsch. She was preceded in death by her husband, both of her parents, and her older brother, Major General Claude Bolton, Jr.

Amelia was well known for her sharp wit and strong opinions. Amelia loved to talk and was never one to back down from letting you know exactly how she felt and what she was thinking. She was easily recognized with her exceptionally long hair, which was as long as she was tall.

Amelia will be buried with Robert at the Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, Kansas. Grave side services will be held on June 29, 2026, at 9:00 am.
