Andrew Milton Duncan was born on October 10, 1963 in Las Angeles, California to Billy Ray Duncan and Helen Hawks. Andrew has always had a quiet reserved demeanor about him that allowed others to feel safe and comforted by his presence. Andrew also had a sense of humor that would make everyone laugh and smile with him. When Andrew smiled, not only did you see it on his face but you could see that light in his eyes that let people around him know he was a safe and happy individual.

Growing up Andrew was the protector and comforter of his younger sister’s. As Andrew grew into an adult, he became the protector and comforter to many as he chose his lifelong career in the field of a public servant. Andrew has worked as a Police Officer, Paramedic, EMT,

Andrew departed this life on February 15, 2026, in his home in Valley Falls, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Duncan, and his mother Helen Hawks. 

A memorial service is being held on Saturday February 28, 2026 at 1:00pm at New Life Assembly of God Church in Atchison, Kansas. Any donations, flowers and condolences can be sent to the church at:
