Anita Marie Collier

Anita Marie Collier was born July 10, 1954 to Barbara Jean Collier and Eugene Harrell.

Anita was educated in the KCMO school district. She worked as a housekeeper in her younger years. Later she worked as a school bus driver until she retired. She loved the work she did.

She was blessed with 5 children. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, being at home, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anita enjoyed purses, watches and a good book. She loved gift giving and buying things for people in need. She had a very giving spirit and a kind heart. She always wanted to see a smile on people’s face.

Anita departed this life on January 20, 2024. Her mother and father preceded her in death. Anita leaves to cherish her memory, her five children: David, Damon, Donald, Danielle & Daryl. Her siblings Michael Williams, DeAngelo Collier, Mark Collier & Robin Scott. 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces and other relatives.

Memorial Service will be held on Monday January 29, 2024 at 6 P.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th st., KCMO 64127.
