Annetta Jane Yant, known to many as Netta, was born on February 18, 1957, in Sacramento, CA, to Joseph and Alma Albertson. She peacefully passed away on March 4, 2024, in Kansas City, KS, at the age of 67. She was known for her goofy and lively personality, always being the life of the party. Netta enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and Heartland in her free time. She loved to dance around and spread joy wherever she went. Netta will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Tessa Burkett, Trisha Hook, Stephanie Valentin, Marrissa McVay, her beloved grandchildren Aubrea Putman, Brooke Barnard, Trysten Hook, Chay Hook, RJ Valentin, Keilley McVay, Donny Valentin, and Ellee McVay and great-grandchildren, Tyler Barnard, Morgan Helt, and Maniah Putman. Annetta is also survived by her sisters Faye Laxton, Nona Burgess, Dorothy Sutherland, Saundra Cox, and Michelle Sheppard. She was preceded in death by her mother Alma Albertson, father Joseph Albertson Sr, and brother Joseph Albertson Jr. She was known to many as a loving mother and memaw. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
