Ava Turner-Williams

Ava June Turner Williams wash born June 22, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas to Freddy Turner and Truevette McKinley.

Ava June Turner Williams was educated in the Kansas City, Kansas & Kansas City, Missouri  school district.

Ava June was a wonderful mother with a beautiful heart who was always there when you needed her. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family & loved ones especially her beloved grandchildren. She had a passion to cook with her daughter and Nieces & she took pride in sharing precious family recipes along with tons of love and laughter with them.  Her sense of humor was infectious, She was always the life of the party. Ava June enjoyed listening to Hits By The Whispers and she really loved her gospel music and attending Church when she was able.

Ava June gained her wings on Sunday December 31st, 2023.

She was proceeded in death by her father, Freddie Turner, 2nd Father  Edward McKinley,  (Husband) Eddie Williams, (Brother) Vernell Turner and a host of other Family members and loved ones.

She leaves to cherish her memory  (Mother) Truevette McKinley (1 Daughter) Kesha  Williams (Torrance Belcher), (2 Sons) LeMarco Williams  & Aaron  Williams, (2 Brothers) Dwight Turner (Norma), and Kevin Turner (Cheryl), (2 Sisters) Carla McKinley Miller (Ervin Miller) & Debra Turner along with a host of Aunts; (13) Grandchildren (Camille, LeMarco Jr., Marquez, Martrae, Antonio, Anton, Gary, Jai’Mein, Ke’Jon, Ariana, Aniyah, Aaron Jr., Avion), Great Grandchildren, along with Many cousins & a host of other family and loved ones.

Funeral services will be at on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Golden Gate located at 2800 East 18th Street Kansas City, Missouri 64127. The visitation is from 9 a.m-11:00 a.m, with services following immediatley at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will be in Blue Ridge Lawn Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
