Beverly Sue Fulks (Johnson) peacefully entered eternal rest on June 30, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born February 8, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the union of William and Anna Marie Johnson.

Beverly attended R.T. Cole and Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Beverly went on to become a hard-working and dedicated woman who took great pride in her career working as a Supervisor for the City of Kansas City, Missouri. (MoDOT) until she retired. Beverly was known for her strong work ethic, determination, and willingness to help others. She earned the respect of those who worked alongside her and approached challenges with resilience and grace. Above all else, Beverly’s greatest joy was her family. Her home was a place where family gathered, and stories were shared. Everyone was welcomed with love. She cherished her family deeply. She married Anderson Fulks of Charleston, Missouri, who also preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Robert Earl, Robert Alexander (Barbara), Pamela Michelle, Tyrone Lamont, Curtis Anthony (Bobbie), Gary Lee, and Darrell Keith, all of Kansas City, Missouri.

Beverly is further survived by her siblings: Ronald Johnson, Dwight Johnson (Donna), Carla Johnson, and Vonacia Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri.

Beverly also leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren spanning several generations, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved her dearly.

Beverly will always be known as the “GRAND POO BARR”

A service will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremations LLC, 2800 E. 18th Street, KCMO 64127. The visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 pm, with a service to follow promptly at 3:00 pm.
