Bobby Lee Medley, age 93, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026. He was born on August 8, 1932, in Eminence, Missouri. Bobby was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Hazel Wood (“Granny”) and Harry Medley; his siblings, Buddy (“Bud”), AnnaMarie, and Burnell; and his sons, Bobby, Robby, and Terry. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Katherine (Brad) and Shannon (Jeff); his cherished grandchildren, Steven, Michael (Summer), LeAnna (Ignacio), Amber (Nicholas), Crystal (Charlie), and Christopher; and his many great-grandchildren, McKaylla (Aidan), Jason (Diana), Bianca, Anakin, Maira, Sara, Arabella, Catalina, Michael, Peyton, Aleia, Aela, Declan, Ellie, Isabela, Ignacio Jr., and Cillian.
Bobby proudly served his country in both the United States Navy during the Korean War and the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he dedicated himself to a hardworking and diverse career as a firefighter, logger, and later as a card dealer at the Bicycle Club Casino. He had a deep love for the outdoors and adventure, finding joy in traveling, fishing, hunting, and coin collecting. He also enjoyed spending time at the casino, where he combined his love of cards with his friendly, outgoing nature. Above all else, Bobby was a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was known for his humor, kindness, and unwavering love for his family. To those who knew him best, he was not only an amazing and caring man but the heart of his family. His greatest happiness came from the time he spent surrounded by those he loved.
His legacy of love, strength, and laughter will live on in all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
