Brenda Henderson

Brenda Henderson (57), was born November 21, 1965 to Donald and Linda Peil in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
Brenda affectionately called Ms. B or Momma B, spent some of her childhood in Arkansas and Texas before relocating to Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 9. She attended Kansas City public schools and graduated from Westport High school Class of 85’.
She attended Donnelly College before working for ‘90 Minute Dry Cleaners’ for seventeen years until she retired.
Brenda accepted Christ at an early age and later joined Center of Hope in 2019. At age 21 she married Irving Horton and they had two beautiful daughters Jessica and Erica Horton. She later married Darryl Henderson.

Brenda was a phenomenal mother and grandmother. Brenda’s love language was an act of service. She provided care to her grandchildren as well as the community. She was a great listener, self-driven, hard worker and a fighter.
We will miss her laughter, her smile, affectionate charisma, long conversations, and her love for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Brenda departed her life on Sunday, August 27, 2023 peace-fully at her home. Her grandparents, father, Donald Peil and husband, Darryl Henderson preceded her in death.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Jessica Randolph (Dahron), Erica Horton (Uniqua), Janee, Monica, Michelle, Joise,Denise, Kieyonte, Rochelle, Reva, Tiffany, Raven, Neshae, Sydney, Keana, Johna. Sons Rodney,Tony Pickens, Irving, Isaiah, Christian ,Antonio Parish. Mother Linda Gartner and Momma Brenda Clemons. Siblings Su-san Haddock (Jim), Diana Duncan, John Piel, Latrice, Rob-ert and Adic Horton. Grandchildren Darius, Da’Ryus, Toni, Anton, Deion, Melvaion, Jeremiah, La’Nyah, Lyric, London, Evelyn, My’Yonna, Reginald, James, Trenity, Jurniee, Harmoniee, Khaizen, Kieyon, Tyler, Tamnarrion, and Brae’Lynn. Best-friends, Anthony Terrell, Christie Burns and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 8, 2023, visitaton will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Center of Hope Ministries located at 2700 East 75th Street, Kansas City, Mo 64132
