Carolyn was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sept. 27, 1952. She became a Christian while attending Hamilton Baptist Church, Hamilton, Missouri.
She is survived by her son, James Shahan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Martin, and by her husband, Dale Lee Shahan.
