Carrie Bell Pruitt (Key)

Carrie Bell Key was born August 22, 1929 in Independence, MO  to Mary Alice Marshall and Larkin McDaniel Key. Carre was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District. Carrie worked for Research Medical Center in the Housekeeping Department, where she accomplished 22 and a half years of service.

Carrie met and married Mose Pruitt. Their union was blessed with two sons, Alvin and Charles.  Carrie enjoyed fishing, going to the casino, scratching lotto tickets and spending time with family at "June meetings".

Carrie departed this life for her heavenly home on March 25, 2024 at home with her son Alvin and his wife Judy. 
She is proceeded in death  by her parents Larkin and Mary Alice Key, her husband Mose Pruitt, her son Charles D. Pruitt, her siblings Edward L. Key, Tommy Key, Jerry Key, Glorious Andrews, Mary Strickland, Cora Wilson and Georgia Hayes. 

Carrie leaves to cherish her memory her son Alvin (Judy) Pruitt of Kansas City, Mo, her sister Willa P. Arnold (Robert) of Scottsdale, Az, her brother John W. Key of Columbia, Mo, her sister in law Linda Key.  As well  as 3 Grandchildren, 7 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday April 9, 2024, visitation will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC 2800 East 18th St, Kansas City, Mo 64127.
Internment: XII GATES CEMETERY
