Charles Melvin Jones

Charles was born in Tunica, Mississippi to Dorothy M. Woodley and Jonah Jones. Charles and his family moved to Kansas City when he was 6 years old. Charles graduated from Southeast High School with a desire to own a carpet cleaning company. To learn more, he worked for his Uncle Jimmy Woodley of Woodley Building Maintenance. His Uncle Jimmy and wife Robbery Woodley (deceased) fathered and mentored him about the janitorial company.

In sickness, Charles was admitted to North Kansas City Hospital. After his illness, Charles was hired at North KC Hospital to learn management. He started his carpet cleaning company, while working part-time for his Uncle Jimmy until he became ill and had to retire.

Charles had 7 children whom he loved and never turned down. He never spanked them for misbehaving, even when he was advised to do so. His children are KK, Torian, Donta, Charlie, Carlos, Tammy, Cino.

Charles loved to dress sharp, attend church, and read the bible.

Charles had three favorite Aunts-Pearl, Puten, and Robbery, Uncle Jimmy, mother Dorothy, many cousins, many friends, and a special brother Carl Woodley.
