Charles E. Rainey of Independence, MO, born on May 10, 1953 he passed on to the

Lord on Sunday, June 14, 2026. Charles a/k/a Charlie was born in Warrensburg,

MO and raised in Knob Noster, MO. Charlie was preceded in death by his

parents, Thelma Josephine and William Lee Rainey, his sister Phyllis, and his brother’s

Gayland, David Carol, James, and Donald Rainey. He leaves behind his daughter

and son-in-law, Shannon and Timothy Pippin, of Sedalia, MO. his grandchildren,

Anthony Villarreal of Sedalia, MO. Angelina Villarreal of Sedalia, MO, great

grandchildren Jaidon Shinkles of California, MO, Jaxon Purnell of Clarksburg,

MO, and Adrian Villarreal of Jefferson City, MO. In addition, he helped raise

three children, Angela Sasse and James Drury of Independence, MO, Michael Hart

of Omaha, NE, and Jason and Misty Hart of Independence, MO, his grandchildren

Makaela Hart and Lucky Bond of Independence, MO., Marishka, Skyler,

Angelique and Jase Hart, all of Independence, MO, Charlie worked as an auto

mechanic for many years to provide for us. He is very loved and will be deeply missed.
