Cherryle Glanzer

Cherryle Lea Reed (October 17, 1958- November 14, 2023)

Cherryle Lea Reed Glanzer was found dead November 14, 2023 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri. Cherryle, born October 17, 1958,  was the daughter of Arlo and Martha McGrath Reed.  Cherryle graduated from Linn High School in May 1976. 

On April 2, 1977, she married Steve Glanzer in Linn, Kansas. They later divorced. They had two children, Cortney and Chad. 

Cherryle worked at Kansas State University in the Animal Sciences, Human Ecology, and Geography Departments. She then worked at several restaurants until she could not. 

Survived by Cortney (and Jamey) Kinyon of Spring Hill, KS; Chad and Beth Glanzer of Lerna, Illinois; her grandchildren, Noah and Caelyn Kinyon, and Graham Glanzer; brother Jared and her sister-in-law Mert Reed. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; Arlo and Martha; sister, Beverly; and brothers Arlyn, Stanley, and Travis. 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
