November 3, 1997 – October 11, 2026.
Christopher Matthew Lee, lovingly known as Chris, passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 28, leaving behind a family who loved him beyond measure and memories that will forever be treasured.
He was the beloved son of Timothy and Denise Lee and a cherished brother to Rebecca Lee, Timothy Lee II, Gennifer Lee, Oriana Lee, Katrina Funderburke, Melanie Lee, Sarah Lee, and Dominic Lee. Chris proudly served in the United States Navy, spending four years stationed in Bahrain. He had a curious, creative mind and a passion for video games, music, technology, and coding. He loved exploring new ideas, challenging himself, and bringing his imagination to life.
Chris was truly one of a kind. Funny, playful, kind, and sweet, he had a style all his own and never worried about fitting anyone else’s expectations. Whether it was his painted nails, his contagious laughter, or his unforgettable hugs, Chris was simply Chris, and he had a beautiful way of making everyone around him feel loved. Chris never missed an opportunity to say “I love you.”
Even a quick phone call about work couldn’t end until you said it back. Love wasn’t something he saved for special occasions; he gave it freely and made sure the people in his life knew how much they mattered. He especially treasured being an uncle. His nieces and nephews adored their “Chrissy,” who filled their lives with laughter, playfulness, and unconditional love.
Though his time here was far too short, the love Chris gave will live on in every shared memory, every remembered hug, and every phone call his family wishes they could have just one more time. He was a piece of so many people’s hearts, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled. Chris was deeply loved in life, and he will be deeply loved for all the days that follow.
