IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clifton Earl
Hall
July 20, 1958 – March 14, 2026
Clifton Earl Hall lived a life rooted in service, resilience, and quiet strength. He was born on July 20, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Charles Hall and Doris Moore. Both preceded him in death, along with his stepfather, John Moore.
Clifton embodied endurance, compassion, and a deep commitment to uplifting others. His journey was not defined by a single path, but by the many lives he touched along the way.
Clifton was a proud graduate of Pioneer Community College, where he earned his high school diploma, demonstrating his determination and belief that growth is always within reach. He went on to serve his country honorably in the Army Reserves, answering a call greater than himself with discipline and pride.
A man of service far beyond the uniform, Clifton dedicated over 30 years of his life to helping others find healing, restoration, and hope. Through his work with Recovery Community Services, Alcoholic Victorious, Footprints, and various comprehensive mental health programs,
Clifton became a steady presence for those walking difficult roads. He understood struggle, but more importantly, he understood redemption. His work was not just volunteerism. It was ministry in action, pouring into people when they needed it most.
Clifton was also a devoted member of Christian Fellowship Church, located at 4509 Troost Avenue, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Stan Archie. His faith was a guiding force in his life, shaping his compassion, his service, and his unwavering belief in restoration and grace. Through his church family, he found community, strength, and spiritual grounding that carried him throughout his journey.
Clifton was a man who gave of himself freely. He showed up. He listened. He encouraged. He believed in second chances and new beginnings, and he lived in a way that reminded others that their story was not over. Most importantly, he was the life of the party. He loved hosting, laughing, and spending time with family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Porcia Hall of Dallas, Texas, Chiffon Hall of Chicago, Illinois, and Cleavon Hall of Kansas City, Missouri. His beloved grandchildren, Ramya R. Hall, Cai Pretiss Hall, Priya Chiffon Hall, and Eko Cenai Hall. He also leaves his siblings, Charlzetta Hall, Clarissa Hall, Carolyn Collins, Charles Hall and his spouse Candace, Crystal
Reid, Cassandra Selectman, and Cedra Birch, all of the Kansas City metropolitan area, along with a host of nieces and nephews, each holding cherished memories of his life and presence. Clifton’s life was one of impact, not noise. He did not seek recognition, but his work spoke volumes. He stood in the gap for others, offering guidance, support, and a reminder that even in life’s hardest moments, there is always a way forward.
His story is one of perseverance, service, and quiet transformation. Though he has departed from this life, the seeds he planted in others will continue to grow, bloom, and carry his legacy forward.
His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit remains in the lives he changed, the hearts he lifted, and the hope he helped restore.
