Cynthia "Cindy" Louise (Braxdale) Wright

Cynthia “Cindy” Louise (Braxdale) Wright, 75, of Blue Springs, MO passed away June 22, 2024 at Shangri-la Care Center.

Cindy was born in Odessa, MO to Cecil and Margie (Nordsieck) Braxdale on October 27th, 1948. She was raised there and in her early years she apprenticed then worked as a Cosmetologist at Ethel’s Beauty Salon. She went on to become a proud small business owner. She owned and operated the bar called Nite Shades in Blue Springs for over twenty years.

She was lovingly named “Ninee” by her oldest granddaughter, Nichole, and wore the name with great pride.

She was known and loved by many for her playful personality, fiery determination, clever wit and generous hospitality.

She loved immensely and will be missed immensely.

She is survived by: two daughters, Dawn (Chuck) Amor, Shannon (Jason) Schlobohm; two sisters Mafalda Cannon, Lori Haney; two brothers Richard Braxdale, Gilbert Braxdale; nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Margie; grandson Brandon Sears; and a niece, Kimberly Braxdale.
