Daniel David
Vidal Jr.
Aug 31, 1957 — May 19, 2026
Daniel Vidal was born on August 31, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was raised. He spent his final years in Kansas City, Missouri, and passed away peacefully on May 19, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. Daniel lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, and an unwavering devotion to God.
In his younger years, Daniel dedicated himself to helping others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Later, he earned his CDL and became a truck driver. While these were his professions, Daniel was, above all else, a soul winner at heart. His true calling was sharing the Gospel. He spent much of his free time visiting local care centers and senior living facilities, ministering to residents and offering comfort, hope, prayer, and encouragement to those in need.
Outside of his ministry, Daniel found great peace and joy in God's creation. He was an avid fisherman who patiently taught his children how to fish. He loved nothing more than camping with family and close friends. Deeply devoted to the Word of God, Daniel regularly led Bible studies and spent countless hours reading Scripture. He was a remarkably kind and warm-hearted man who gave everyone a special nickname and delighted in making up little songs to sing to his children.
Daniel's greatest earthly treasure was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Vidal; four sons; three daughters; four sisters; and three grandsons. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who will deeply miss his guidance, warmth, and the way he made everyone feel loved and valued.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.
"Well done, thou good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:21
May his legacy of faith, kindness, and love continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
