Dantel Eugene Robinson

Dantel Eugene Robinson was born January 24, 1993, in Kansas City, Kansas and passed away Monday, September 4, 2023, in Olathe, Kansas. Dantel was the second born of two children. He was 30 years old.
Dantel was raised in Olathe, Kansas by his grand-parents, Joel B. Dukes and Agnes L. Dukes. He attended Olathe public schools and graduated May 2011 from Olathe East High School. Dantel was especially close to his grandfather and affectionally called him ‘Dad.’ Dantel’s grandfather preceded him in death.

Dantel’s hobbies were playing sports and video games. Basketball was his favorite sport, and he’d always ask others to play. When playing basketball, Dantel ‘never’ missed a shot! In addition to playing basketball, it wasn’t uncommon to see him sporting one of his favorite baseball caps!

Dantel was ‘always’ a gentleman. He was polite, smart, and even vain, he loved to check himself out in the mirror. Dantel would approve his look with a smile at himself, living up to his grandma’s affirmations of looking sharp.
Dantel was an all-around good guy! To know him was to love him and anyone who met Dantel was glad they did and were blessed to be and blessed to have been in his presence. Dantel will be dearly missed.

Dantel is survived by his mother, Reshandia Y. (Evans) Phillips; sister, Chandelyn R. Robinson; maternal grandmother, Agnes L. Dukes; uncle, William J. Evans, Jr.; aunt, Carman R. (Evans) McCorkle; niece, Aaliyah D. Robinson; nephew, maurí Reign Dismuke; and many great-aunt, great- uncles, and a host of cousins, and friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2023 at 3 P.M. at Golden Gate Cremation Services, LLC located at 2800 East 18th St., KCMO 64127.
