Today we honor and celebrate the life of a beloved man who lived with compassion, Integrity, And devotion to others. He dedicated his life to doing good and always placed his family at the heart of everything he did. his legacy of love, Selflessness and unwavering commitment will be cherished and remember for generations to come.

David departed his life on Thursday, May 28, 2026

David Johnson was born on May 31, 1951 to Arthur Carter of Marshall Missouri and Mae Ella credit( Marvin) of Arkansas. David attended school in the Kansas City school district and graduated from Paseo high school and received a football scholarship.

David was employed by the city of Kansas City and work with them over 25 years before he retired. David was an entrepreneur and had his own lawn care service in addition to being an automotive serviceman. He enjoyed monster trucks and spending time with his friends and family.

He leaves the cherish memory: Three daughters that he loved much, Victoria M Price of Las Vegas, Danielle N Price of Grandview, Missouri and Chequana F Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, eight grandkids Janae Rouser of McDonough Ga, Devonte Peoples of Grandview Missouri, Lonnie, Boston Junior of Kansas City, Missouri, Dawuon, Boston of Kansas City, Missouri, LiaShwuon Boston of Grandview Missouri,David Boston of Grandview, Missouri,Kaydn Jones, Kansas City, Missouri, and Brooklynn James of Kansas City,Missouri. 14. Great grandkids who he loved very much and will miss him dearly.

David leaves his memory to his siblings one sister Safiyyah Mohammad of Grandview Missouri Two brothers Clarence Hooker of Grandview, Missouri, and John Lee Hooker, who also preceeded him in death. David was known by his name bucket. You could always catch him sitting in his truck park somewhere all you had to do was holler out was his name bucketttt and he will say what you know really loud. If you was to call his phone and he didn’t answer it would say this is the snake man catch me if you can.

A service will be held on Wednesday June 17, 2026 at Galilee Missionary Church, 3601 E. 19th St., Kansas City, MO 64127 . The visitation will begin at 10-11:00 am, with the service to follow promptly at 11:00 am.
