David Meyer

David Keith Meyer, 39, passed to his eternal home on June 17, 2025, at his home in Kansas City, MO. David was born September 27, 1985, in Hartford City, Indiana, the son of Robert and Lynda Meyer. He grew up in Hartford City and attended high school at Stockdale High School, Bakersfield, CA. He then moved back to Indiana. 

David was the president of his company, KATCO and wore many different hats. He traveled a lot for his work and made many trips across the United States. He did masonry work, like his dad and grandfather, worked construction, painted residential and commercial, and did remodeling.

David was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. He loved music and singing and hanging with his friends. David just loved people. He never knew a stranger.

David is survived by his children Kevin Meyer and Jace Meyer, both of Kansas, his mom Lynda Meyer of Indiana, his siblings Tica (Tracy) Etherington-Nebraska, Tina (Jason) Moore- Indiana, Rob (Melina) Meyer-California, Melissa Meyer-Kansas, Robert (Elizabeth) Walton- Arizona.

He is also survived by his cousins, whom he was very close to. Bobbie Perry- Indiana, Jodie Perry-Indiana, Tyann (Jason) Jones-Indiana, Ric Wyatt-Indiana, his Aunt Deborah (Nolan) Crump-Indiana. David was also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of life to honor David was held with his mom and siblings.

There will also be a celebration of life by his friends at a later time.
