David Lee Reed

David Reed was born July 31st 1956, in Leavenworth Kansas to Samuel Reed and Helen Reed. David Reed graduated from Leavenworth High School and worked as a Janitor and Custodian along with working on many vehicles for numerous people. He was very good and made many friends along the way. David was blessed to have a daughter with Maria Hanner in 1977, Kimberly Reed(Cox) she was very driven as her father was and put herself through a GED program along with putting herself through nursing school. She had 2 children and is happily married to David's buddy (as he calls him) Gary Cox. David loved to watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy with his buddy. 

David also loved to look at his car magazines, give his daughter a hard time, play with his cats, dogs and spend time with his daughters chickens and his great granddaughter Kehlani. 

He is preceded in Death with his Dad, Mom, sister Barbara and brother Philip as well as his nephew Billy Gillespie. He has 5 living brothers, Albert(Janet wife)Jim(Ona wife)Joe, Charlie(Judy wife) and Mike. David also has 2 grandkids Demetri Reed and Shaundria Raybon and 4 great grandchildren. He was for sure one of a kind and would take the shirt off of his back for anyone, no matter who or what color they were. He also has many nieces and nephews. David will forever be in our hearts to the many he touched along the way
