Desiree Denise Williams

Desiree Denise Williams was born on May 18, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa to Phyllis Ann Williams. She was called home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age of 57 years young. Desiree was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Ann Broadus,  father, John Broadus, and grandmother, Anna Williams.

Desiree was educated in the Des Moines Public school system. A dedicated Housewife, Desiree worked occasionally as a cook in Nursing homes  and in retail sales. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cooking, watching her favorite TV shows, listening to music and spending time with her children, grand-children and friends.

Desiree was united in Holy Matrimony to her best friend and Love of 33 years on March 11,1990. They were blessed with two beautiful daughters between them.

Desiree was baptized in Jesus’ name & received the Holy ghost around 1989 at Christ Apostolic Temple in Des Moines, Iowa under the pastorate of Bishop Jeremiah Reed.

A caring and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother & friend. She leaves to remember and cherish her love and kindness, her husband, Lawrence E. Williams, Blue Springs, Missouri; mother in-law, Rosalie Davis, Altoona, Iowa; two daughters, Sheena Williams, Des Moines, Iowa and DeAnn (Tommy) Hill, Liberty, Missouri; five grandchildren, DeTasia Williams, Kani Ware, Jabreya Hudson, Tiomaj Hill and Tommy Hill Jr.; uncles, David (Ameda) Williams and Jerry Williams, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and close friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday April 1, 2023 at 11 A.M.

Services will be held at Point of Hope Church 1201 Main St. Blue Springs, Mo
