Diane P. Turnbull

Diane Turnbull, a fiery redhead with a quick wit and a heart full of love, passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on April 5, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Diane lived her life boldly, unapologetically, and always with a spark that made her unforgettable.

She was deeply devoted to her family and loved ones. Diane was the proud mother of two daughters, Kimberly and Vanatta, step-mother to Ebony, and the cherished grandmother of Alanna, Devereaux, Anyssia, and Exzavias Jr, step-grandma to Marquis, Aminah, Jamin, and Nasir. Her legacy continues on through her great-grandchildren: Rose, Leondre, Emoni, and Exzavias III, who will forever know her as their funny, outspoken, and loving “Granny.”

Though she was never married, Diane’s heart belonged to Eugene Harris, the love of her life. Who we know is happy her suffering is over and they are reunited. She also poured her care and affection into the many animals she adored—especially her cats, who always held a special place in her home.

Diane was sharp, hardworking, and talented with computers, carving out a career in a field that was ahead of its time. But beyond her work, what people will remember most is her humor, her outspoken nature, and her willingness to be a little “crazy” in the best way possible. She brought laughter into every room she entered and left an imprint on everyone lucky enough to know her.

Diane’s family and friends will forever carry her spirit—a blend of humor, honesty, and fierce love—within their hearts.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
