Dorlisa Newcomb died on 20 July 2026. She was only 57 years old. She was absolutely funny. quick wit and a photographic memory. Her photographic memory would drive me crazy. Driving down the highway at 70 miles an hour, she would ask me Did you see that blue butterfly on that branch?. If you ever drove with her, you wouldn’t notice this. It was amazing the things you could remember seeing even years later. The greatest thing about her what she didn’t judge people. She did not see sand in people. She only saw people... she loved people. She would talk to anybody, anytime, anywhere. Many times, countless times, she would get up at any time, day or night, to go help someone. Amazingly great heart. She was disabled at the young age of 22 by a drunk driver. She lived in pain constantly. At times she would cry. She was crying a lot in the last two weeks of her life. Now she is in no pain. With Jesus, I’m probably talking to anybody, as always, with love for people. I will miss her and do miss her.
