Dyvid Fredlee Pittman, Jr. was born on December 20, 2004 to Nicole Ellis and Dyvid Pittman, Sr.

Dyvid was a very intelligent and hardworking young man who valued education. During his early years, he attended schools in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, and Kansas City, Kansas, before graduating from William Chrisman High School in 2023. He enjoyed playing soccer, video games, listening to music, and spending time riding his motorcycle.

Following graduation, Dyvid began his career with Lansing Correctional Facility, where he faithfully served for nearly two years as a Sergeant. He took great pride in his work and the responsibilities entrusted to him.

Dyvid never married and had no children.

On June 26, 2026, Dyvid peacefully departed this life.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Sarah L. Bryant; paternal great-grandmother, Germaine Blaise; grandmother, Ginette Pittman; and his uncles, Goethe Laurent and Marc Laurent.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his loving father, Dyvid Pittman, Sr. (Layessa); his devoted mother, Nicole Ellis; his eight siblings, Nicara, Carter, Shariah, Sharae, Samiah, Titan, Roman, and Elena; his maternal grandmother, Walterine Ellis; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, coworkers, and friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.

A service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Harvest Cathedral Church of God, 17300 East Susquehanna Drive, Independence, Missouri 64056. The visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am, with a service to follow promptly at 11:00 am.
