Elezy Levern Ward. Born 8/13/1944 in Kansas City, Missouri. He accepted Christ at the early age of 12, which led him to become like a tree planted firmly amid the trials and tribulations of this world. His parents' names were odester jones and Cesar Ward. He worked for ConAgra for 10+ years, retiring with honors. He also enjoyed entrepreneurship in the sale of stocks and bonds, automobiles, cologne, and anything of commerce to make a profit in the pursuit of providing for his loved ones. Once married to the late Margaret Rose Ward, and years later to Marilyn Rachelle Porter, he continued his passion for successfully maintaining a stable and prosperous life for the Ones closest to his heart. As we celebrate the life and graduation of such a humble and peaceful soul, serious yet sincere, caring and conservative, although quiet in nature, every action spoke volumes and broke the chains and snares of any weapons forged against him. And for this is a blessing to have witnessed God's unconditional love, grace, and mercy in full effect in the life of Elezy Ward! As he leaves us to cherish the memories of the life of Elezy Ward. Rest in peace forever in the kingdom of God's love. Elezy Ward, 81, of Kansas City, passed away on June 23, 2026. He was born on August 13, 1944, to Ceasar Ward and Odester Jones.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services LLC. 2800 E. 18th Street, KCMO 64127. There will be no visitation. The service will begin promptly at 3:00 pm.
