Gerald Mae Jackson, 90, of Plattsburg, Missouri, entered the presence of the Lord on June 17, 2026. Born on March 2, 1936, she was the daughter of Theodore Smith Sr. and Anna Smith. A Valedictorian at Bartlett High School in 1954, Gerald Mae had a passion for God that defined her life's calling. She married Edward May and later Walter Herbert “Herbie” Jackson in 1959. As a devoted wife and mother, she nurtured her family with love and prayer. Gerald Mae accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and, in her early years of ministry, served at Davis Temple (No. 1&2) and Jesus Chapel in Cameron, Missouri, becoming a respected Pentecostal evangelist. She was known for her vibrant personality, love of gardening, cooking, and her unshakeable faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and sons, Raefel May and Delreece Jackson. Gerald Mae is survived by her children: Carmelita Smith, Desiree Seton, Armon Jackson, and Reginald Jackson (Lisa); her siblings, Lauretta Major, Aaron Smith (Laurie), and Patricia “Kathy” Rodriguez (Carlos); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love and ministry will not be forgotten.
