Gevonni Roberto Davis

Gevonni Roberto Davis, 44, of Junction City, Kansas, transitioned into eternal rest on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Saint Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.

Affectionately known as “Gee,” he was born on June 30, 1981, in Junction City, the beloved son of Kimberley M. Davis and Ronald W. Glenn (stepfather). He was preceded in death by Serone Davis (brother), Anna Davis (Grandmother), and Joseph Davis (Uncle).

Gee was a proud graduate of Junction City High School, Class of 1999. He gave his life to Christ and was baptized on October 20, 1994, at Second Missionary Baptist Church. A joyful and faithful servant, he was active in the choir, Vacation Bible School, the Sunbeams youth group, and served faithfully as an usher. His love for God and community shone through everything he did.

In his later years, Gee found a spiritual home at Ogden Friendship House – United Methodist Church in Ogden, Kansas, where he continued to grow in faith and fellowship.

Professionally, Gee made a lasting impact through his work with USD #475 and the 21st Century Community Learning Centers. After the district was awarded a $1 million grant to launch after-school programming, Gee became a cornerstone of the effort, arriving early, staying late, and supporting every part of the initiative. From backend operations to recruiting teachers and students, he played a pivotal role in establishing an outstanding program during its inaugural year.

Gee’s hobbies reflected both his spirituality and creativity. He loved listening to gospel music and watching spiritual films that uplifted his heart. He also had a quiet passion for musical theatre—not as a performer, but working behind the scenes, where he found joy helping each production come to life.

Gee leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Kimberley Davis (Ron) of Kansas City, Kansas; his sister, Jasmine Davis (Brent) of Topeka, Kansas; Sister Ebony Banks of Killen, Texas; his brother, Adrian Davis (Teyana) of Grand Junction, Colorado; grandparents, Rosetta Davis of Junction City, Kansas; Ronald Glenn Sr. (Judy) of Norfolk, VA; Gee’s special friend Lorraine Lawmore of Junction City, Kansas. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members across the United States and abroad who will remember him with love and gratitude.
