Isaiah Anderson Jr.

Isaiah Anderson, Jr was born April 5, 1942, in Eudora, Arkansas to Girsie Mae and Isaiah Anderson, Sr. Isaiah was educated through the Kansas City Public School District. He worked at the VA Hospital as a Certified
Medical Technician and retired from the Gregory Ridge Healthcare Center. Isaiah met and married Artis Anderson, and was blessed
with three children, Sharon Anderson, Isaiah Anderson, III and Cynthia Eason. She preceded him in death.
Later in life, Isaiah met and married Ruby Anderson and they were blessed with one child, Nandi Anderson. She also
preceded him in death. Isaiah accepted the Lord at a young age and attended Mount Vernon Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Johnson, currently under the leadership of Pastor Donald Givens. Isaiah was a faithful member for 57 years,
where he enjoyed singing in the choir and was a leader of
the male choir.

Isaiah departed this life on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at home with family by his side. His parents, Girsie Mae and Isaiah Anderson, Sr., son, Isaiah Anderson III, three brothers, James Anderson, Frankie Anderson and Charles
Anderson preceded him in death. Isaiah leaves to cherish his memory three daughters, Sharon Anderson, Nandi Anderson and Cynthia Eason (Myron) all of Kansas City, MO; three brothers, Robert Anderson
(Carolyn) of Kansas City, MO, Booker Anderson (Silva) of Kansas City, KS and Richard Anderson of Atlanta, GA; one
sister, Debra Anderson of Raytown, MO; two grandchildren, Isaac Anderson of Kansas City, MO and Shanna
Moore (William) of Grandview, MO; nine great-grandchildren all of Kansas City, MO; and three great-great
grandchildren all of Dallas, TX and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 11, 2023, visitation will be held from 10 A.M. - 11 A.M. with the services beginning at 11 A.M. at Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church  3935 Prospect Ave KCMO 64130.
