Jaden Demetrius James

Jaden was born August 6, 2002, in Kansas City, Mo to Latasha Frazier and Benjamin James.
Jaden was educated in the Independence school district and graduated from Truman High School. From the age of 4 to 18 he was involved in sports, from t-ball to karate, to football and others in between. He was a mentee of High Aspirations from 16-18 years of age.

For a short time he worked with developmentally disabled adults and appreciated that he was able to provide care to those in need. During his adolescent years, Jaden began to pursue his dream of becoming an entrepreneur and started his entrepreneurial endeavors as a business apparel designer, but most important to him – he was a rap artist known as “Dirtyboy Jay.”
Jaden enjoyed going to the studio, listening to different beats, and writing lyrics for his rap songs. He loved spending time with his friends and family.

He loved being a big brother and loved that his sisters and little cousins looked up to him.

Jaden departed this life on November 28, 2023. His Father; Benjamin James and Sister; Sha’ley James preceded him in death.

Jaden leaves to cherish to memory, his mother; Latasha Frazier, Step-father; Marion M. Daniel, Siblings; Jayla Wyatt, Mya Daniel, Diamond James-Hill, Idarus, and Benjamin James. Step-brother; Maurice Daniel, Grandparents; Joann Frazier, and Altheia Kelly (Tony) Step-grandparents; Marion and Mary Daniel, Aunt; Markesha Dozier (Gary), step-aunt; Makia Lenoir (Michael), Uncles; Latif Frazier (Jamica), Jermaine Pierce (Jamaica), Mario (Emily), Brandon, and Jarrol James. Step–Uncles; Marcellus, Marques, Maundre, and Montrel Daniel, Great-Grandmother; Martha Sims, Great-Aunt; Mildred Frazier, Great Uncles; James Frazier, Christopher Sims, and Fur Son; Dirt Ball. Honorary family members, Aunt; Shakia Webb, Uncle; H.Diandrai Webb, Brothers; Devin Taylor, Quincy Potts, and a host of loving cousins, other relatives and special friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 16, 2023, visitation will be from 9 A.M. - 11 A.M. with services beginning at 11 A.M. at 24 Hour Faith Training Center 2605 Prospect Ave.
