James Leathers, 91, of Kansas City, passed away June 5, 2026. He was born on April 5, 1935, to Theodore Leathers and Mary Leathers. He served in the U.S. Marines. A service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services LLC, 2800 E. 18th Street, KCMO 64127. The visitation will begin at 10:00-11:00 am, with the service to follow promptly at 11:00 am. The Interment will take place following the service at Leavonworth National.
