Celebrating the life of James William (J.W.) Miller was born on October 20, 1966, in Kansas City, Kansas, to the parents of John Wayne Miller Sr. and Shirley Irene Every.

He accepted Christ at an early age and reconfirmed his faith during his hospital stay.

He loved fishing, camping, and making cars look and sound good with his painting and mechanical skills. He was the best at always making people laugh, and everyone loved being around him. He loved and adored his dog and companion, Copter.

J.W. graduated from J.C. Harmon and took welding at the Kansas City, Kansas Community College.

J.W. departed this life on April 20, 2026. He is preceded in death by his father, John Wayne Miller Sr.; his mother, Shirley Irene Every; his stepmother, Alice Miller; and his sister, Debbie Miller.

He leaves cherished memories for his brother, John Wayne Miller Jr., nephews, Kyle Wayne Miller and David Carver, who never left his side. A brother, Johnny Miller, sister-in-law, Lisa Miller, sisters Teresa Miller-Cone, brother-in-law, Bill Cone, and sister, Jo Ann Every-McLeland. He leaves cherished memories for a host of nieces and nephews that he loved and adored.
