James Robert Cooper

James Robert Cooper, 64, of Kansas City, MO. Passed Away on Tuesday, May 20th 2025. He was born March 13th, 1961 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. The 3rd Child, and eldest Son, of the late JR and Betty née Hart Cooper.

James was a one of a kind person, full of life and humor.

Always with a quick laugh. And his laughs were truly one of a kind. He would rather give you a hug than a handshake. If he was really happy or excited it was a sight to see.

He was never afraid to overuse "I love You" to his family and friends.

And never too far from his beloved cup of coffee. He loved fast cars and motorcycles. And got to live out a Dream by racing pony stocks at I-70 speedway in his 20's. James will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

James is preceded in death by his parents, JR and Betty, his sister Joyce (Joseph)Mount. He is survived by his sisters, Janet (Edward) Owen, Iva Jackman, Kimberly McNutt, Belinda Schumacher, and Mariesa Sidebottom as well as brothers, Bill (Marvin) Schilling and Timothy Cooper and his many nieces and nephews which were always special to him. A celebration of his life we’ll be held at a later date by his family.
