Janet S. Flanders, 77, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Janet was born on July 18, 1948 in Fort Scott, Kansas to Ernest M. and Willa D. Pieratt. She grew up in Hume, Missouri before her family moved to Raytown, Missouri where she later graduated from Raytown South High School.

Janet is preceded in death by her father, Ernest M. Pieratt, her mother Willa D. Pieratt and her brother Michael R. Pieratt.

Janet is survived by her son Sean Hensley and his wife Julie and their five children Aleah, Alyssa, Jaegar, Malaina, Keaton and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter Kelly Hensley and her three children Jacob, Jessica and Tiara.
