Jason Scott Crain (age 49), of Excelsior Springs departed from his earthly body on August 15th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones at St Lukes Hospital.

Jason was born November 11, 1976 to Linda Lou Crain (Adams). Jason spent his life fishing, playing guitar, listening to music, working, and being a mentor to any and all young people around him. Though an only child, Jason had several friends that were more like family. He was well known as a Bonus Uncle to several. He enjoyed time with his cousins and other family members.

Jason met Rachael in 2005, they married November of that year and would go on to bring 3 sons into the world; Ryen, Conner, and William of Excelsior Springs Missouri.

Though Jason only fathered three sons, he was a mentor to many. He will be loved, missed, cherished, and honored for years to come by all who crossed paths with him.

Those who truly knew Jason would know that he lived life by the saying, "give all you have to give, even if it's all you got."

Jason was selfless and took care of others before himself. Unfortunately, this would lead to health issues and other concerns. Jason still went through life with a smile attending any and all of his children's events, Group, and Bible Study.

Though Jason is physically gone, his legacy will continue to live and strive by those who were impacted by his many lessons he taught in life.

Please keep his family, extended family, and friends wrapped in love as they endure this journey with out him.
