In Loving Memory of JaVon Brown

JaVon Brown was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on June 6th, 2005, to Elisha Kane and Justin Brown. He departed this world far too soon on April 5th, 2025, at the age of 19. In his short time, JaVon made a lasting impact on all who knew him, touching countless lives with his warmth, humor, compassion, and love for music. We are deeply grateful for the years we were blessed to share with him.

JaVon had an incredible gift for bringing joy to others. His smile could brighten even the darkest day. Whether he was telling a wild story, playfully teasing with his mischievous grin, or simply being his curious self, JaVon had a way of lighting up every room he entered.

He was the kind of person you could always count on—a steady shoulder to lean on, a compassionate ear to listen. JaVon had a special connection with children, who were naturally drawn to his playful spirit and infectious laughter.

JaVon leaves behind two beloved children, Jaloni Brown and Mylan Brown; his loving parents, Elisha Kane and Justin Brown; his siblings, JaVia Brown and Dametre Coody; his grandparents, Bernadette Kane, Anthony Kane, Patricia Martin, and Michael Spears; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and cherished friends.

Though JaVon’s time here was brief, the love he gave and the joy he brought will forever remain in our hearts.
