Jenni Kay Bain was born on September 19, 1957, in Kansas City, MO, to Dorothy and Donald Bain. Jenni attended the Independence school system and graduated from Fort Osage High School in 1975. She married David Powell and to this union 2 children were born. Jenni worked at USPS and then went into the retail field. She loved scrap-booking, reading and road trips. Jenni accepted Christ and was baptized at Eastside Baptist Church in Independence MO. Jenni departed this life on September 8, 2026. She was preceded in death by Dorothy Bain (mother) and Donald Bain (father). She leaves behind Dana (daughter) and Randy (son-in-law) Boude: Tristan, Caleb, and Julianne (grandchildren); Killian (great-grandchild); Jason (son) and Erica (daughter-in-law) Powell; Gideon (grandchild); Janet Bain (sister); Jeremy Schinderling (nephew); Jaydin (great-niece); Shaun Bain (brother); Karsynn, Tatumn, Jamesyne, and Vera (nieces); and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
