Jerome Gordon Dunham

Jerome Gordon Dunham, 76, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on August 21, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1949, in Syracuse, NY, and later relocated to Kansas City, where he resided until his passing. Jerome proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a Vietnam veteran. 

He had a passion for rugby and played with the Syracuse Rogues Rugby team. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, strength, dedication, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Jerome is preceded in death by his mother Lillian Carter and father Kenneth Dunham. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving daughter Sonya Smith of Queens, NY; five grandchildren, Jocelyn Graham, Brooke Thomas (Shameek), Ashley Miller-Galvan (Noah), Jordan Graham, and Jamir Ferguson (Paulina); a host of beloved great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his devoted friend Marcus Kinney. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
