Jesse Earl Delaney IV was born on August 6, 1981, to Jesse Earl Delaney III and Mae Thompson.

Jesse accepted Christ at the early age of 9. He attended Northeast High School and later attended Ridgewater Tech, where he earned his GED in 2010.

Jesse was an ambitious entrepreneur and founded Delaney Investments LLC in 2022. He was known for his caring spirit, love for his family, and determination to build a better future for those he loved.

Jesse departed this life on May 3, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Earl Delaney III; his brother, Donnie Sanders; his grandfather, Harold Roland; his grandmother, Cecilia Delaney; and his aunts, Johnetta Benton and Debbie Delaney.

He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancée, Elizabeth Clark; his children, Layla Fontaine, Jesse Fontaine, Amelia Jones, and Micah Clark; his mother, Mae Thompson; Lewis Thompson Sr.; Tyrone James (Felicia); Kianna Benton; Norman Harvey (Tia); Lewis Thompson Jr.; Terri Harvey; Kanisha Griffin; his favorite aunt, Terri Jefferson; Ramona Jenkins; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC, 2800 E. 18th St. Kansas City, MO 64127. The visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, the service will follow at 3:00 pm.
