John Earl "Dirty Red" Brown

John Earl Brown , loving son, brother, uncle, fatherand friend to many, entered this earthly place on December 19,1964 to Alfonzo and Wanda Brown in Kansas City, Mo. He received his wings and transitioned on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

John accepted Jesus Christ as heis personal savior, giving his family and friends a sense of peace, knowing he is now in a better place with our Lord and Savior.

He was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School System. He attended Seven Oaks Elementary School, Vanhorn High School and De La Salle Education Center.

John moved and lived in Guthrie, Oklahoma for many years and later returned to Kansas City, Missouri where he lived for the remainder of his life.

Upon returning to Kansas City, he worked as a cook. He loved hanging out with his Uncle T. J.  His favorite pastime was to fo fishing and playing dominoes.

John was a sweet spirited and fun loving manwho was loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

John was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father Alfonso Brown Sr., brother, Alfonso Brown Jr., and his unlce, Thomas J. Horne.

He leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life: a son, Montez Turner (Misty) of Las Vegas, NV.; a daughter, Ashajah Hodge; his mother, Wanda J Brown; sisters, Margaret Brockman and Diana Jones ( Marvin); brothers: Donald Brown(Cynthia), Mark Brown, Reginald Brown and Delwan Brown( Juanda); a true best friend, Beverly Holliman,  an aunt, Jesse M. Horne; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
