Juan G. Lujan Jr., 44, passed away in the afternoon on Monday, May 26, 2025. A FedEx worker and a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area, Juan was born on January 30, 1981, in Emporia, KS, to his mother, Delores Gomez. He was preceded in death by his loving mother in January 2005, as well as his father, Juan Lujan Sr., who passed away in 2015.
He graduated from the Kansas School for the Deaf. After high school, he completed his technical certificate in Automotive Technology.
Juan is survived by his three sons: Joshua, Jayden, and Daylen. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers: Lydia Dean and her husband, Detrick; Malik and Dante; Jame Bartnick; and Miguel. Additionally, he is survived by Elena Smith and her two children, Elexsa and Keenan; Maria Fuller and her four children: Xavier, Isabelle, Diesel, and Jasmyn and her husband, Ted; and Victoria LuJan and her dog, Elijah.
Juan loved his three sons very much. He loved meeting new people and interacting with all his friends in the Deaf community. He had such an infectious smile and joyful personality. He enjoyed helping others and always being involved, included, and supportive. He was a huge sports fanatic and such a blessing to be around. He is now reunited with his mother, Dolores Gomez, in Heaven.
