Kathryn Irene McCleery

Kathryn Irene McCleery, age 78 of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Wednesday June 11th, 2025 at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City, Missouri. Kathi was born on September, 10th 1946 in New York, New York to Charles and Estelle Torrance. Kathi is survived by her two sons Jon Bogensberger, (wife Lorin) of Port Washington, NY and Joel Bogensberger, (wife Carrie) of Plattsburgh NY, and Step-daughter Pamela Cline of Kansas City, MO. Grandchildren Max, Jack, Olivia, Caleb, Michele, and Jessica. She is proceeded in death by her parents Charles and Estelle Torrance.

Kathi took pride in working in education, dedicating her time and energy to helping children overcome reading challenges and discover the joy of books over the years. John 14:27 (NIV) states: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.
