Kenny Lane was born in Kansas City to Marshall Earl Lane and Mary Louise Lane. He was educated in the Kansas City Public school district. Kenny was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Kenny, was always the life of the party; whether through his beautiful singing voice or his dance moves! His quick wit, humor, and love will truly be missed! His favorite catch phrase "Right, Right" will live in our hearts forever!

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Earl Lane and Mary Louise Lane; brothers - Marshall "Baybra" Lane Jr. and Mack "Stevie" Lane; one sister, Jessie "Tang" Lane; nephews, Marino "Ring Ring" Lane, Mario Henderson, Mikel Lane, and Lonell Lane.

Kenny leaves to cherish his memory, sisters: Ella "Moochie" Howse, Shirley "Duta" Lane, and Carolyn "Peaches" Roach; brothers - Michael Lane and Lydell Lane; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC, 2800 E. 18th St., Kansas City, MO 64127. The service will take place at 3:00 p.m., there will be no visitation prior to the service.
