Keshia Kim Nolan Robinson, born March 31, 1965, in Wichita, Kansas, was a woman whose life reflected faith, dedication, and a deep love for family. She was the beloved daughter of Robert Eugene Nolan and Wanda Lee Kelly.

Keshia spent her early years in Colorado, attending Malley Elementary School in Northglenn and Merritt Hutton Junior High in Thornton. She later returned to Wichita, where she attended South East High School before earning her GED. Driven by passion and talent, she pursued her love of cooking at the California Culinary Institute of San Francisco, Le Cordon Bleu, graduating with honors in 1994 with a degree in Culinary Arts. Her culinary journey led her to Louisiana, where she worked for the renowned Brennan’s in the French Quarter. Over the years, she served as a Sous Chef in various establishments, always following her passion for food and hospitality. Determined to expand her expertise, Keshia later earned an Associate of Applied Science in Hospitality and Hotel Management from eCornell University, along with her Certified Dietary Manager credential. Her career culminated in her role as Director of Foodservice at Delmar Gardens, where she served faithfully for many years before retiring in 2017.

Keshia accepted Christ at the age of eight and lived her life with unwavering faith. For the past five years, she was a devoted member of Abyssinian Baptist Church, where she worshipped wholeheartedly and kept God at the center of her life.

A woman of many talents and joys, Keshia loved cooking, fishing, painting, reading, watching sports, dancing, and especially music. Her warmth and creativity touched everyone around her.

In 2015, seeking sisterhood and service, Keshia joined the Zeta Amicae of Kansas City, Missouri, an auxiliary of Eta Zeta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She served with distinction, holding numerous local offices including Parliamentarian, Vice President, Membership Chair, Fundraising Chair, and CoChair. On the regional level, she proudly served as Bylaws Chair.

On April 1, 2001, Keshia married the love of her life, Matthew G. Robinson. Together they celebrated 25 years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Joshua Ryan Nolan, whom she cherished deeply.

Keshia is preceded in death by her brother Robert Eugene Nolan II, and her grandparents Celeste Kelley, Leroy Kelley, Elliott Eugene Graves, and Audrey D. Graves.
