Kim LaVonne Peeler

Kim Lavonne Peeler was born September 6, 1956 in Norbon, Missouri to Lily (McCorkle) Thompson and John King.

He was a lifetime resident of Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from the Kansas City Missouri School District.

Kim was a lifetime member of AWB Band  and was known as,“P-Funk Peeler”. He was once featured on the Jay Leno Show. Kim was loved by many and will be missed by plenty.

He departed this life on Friday, September 2, 2022. His mother, Lily Thompson; father, John King, and sister, Gloria Fitchett all precedes him in death

He leaves to cherish his memory his significant other, Yuvonne Horrid; two sons, Lavonne Peeler and Kevin Peeler; brothers, James Thompson (Willett ) and Timothy Thompson; uncles, Ronald McCorkle and James McCorkle; aunts, Delores and Eurstene;  several brothers in-law, and sisters in-law; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
