Kimberly Marie Kurtz

Kimberly Marie Kurtz, 61, passed away on Monday, September 15th, in Easton, Kansas. She was born on June 27th, 1964, the daughter to Max and Therese Wichman.

Kim was born and raised in Topeka, and graduated from Topeka High School. She was a skilled artist, and worked at Josten’s Yearbook for a time. She also worked at Ace Hardware and Stanley Flowers. She had a green thumb like no other, and was always happy to share bulbs or cuttings. Kim will be remembered for her enthusiasm for life, and resilience. She fiercely loved her sons, as well as her grandchildren. Services will be private.

Survivors include her children- Brant Bowden(Amanda Bowden); Dallas Kurtz; Justin Smith, Austin Kurtz (Madison Kurtz), Dylan Kurtz (Julia Kurtz); Father- Max Wichman; grandchildren- Marcus Bowden, Katie Bowden, Iris Kurtz and Hazel Kurtz; and former husband George Kurtz. She is proceeded in death by her mother- Therese Wichman, and daughter Dusty Kurtz.
