Kimberly Dawn McDaniel, 61, was born on September 17, 1963, in Harrisonville, Missouri, and passed away in her home in Hamilton, Missouri, on June 19, 2025.
Kim is survived by her partner of 26 years, Mark Johnson, her mother Betty Paul, her brother Brian Clements, her two sons Cole (Taylor) McDaniel and Dustin (Ashley) McDaniel, her three grandchildren Rylee Rae, Quentin Cole, and Luke Oliver McDaniel, and her three nieces.
Kim was raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, graduating from Lee’s Summit High School in 1981. She held different jobs through the years, meeting many lifelong friends. Her longest employment was with Missouri Public Service and most recently with Modine Manufacturing.
Kim had a strong work ethic. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, and eating her favorite foods. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and the many dogs she had through the years. Her many attributes of selflessness, empathy, and unconditional love will be remembered by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Kim’s life will be held at the Gamber Community Center,4 SE Independence Ave, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063,on Sunday, July 13.
