Lamon Canan Lewis

Lamon Canan Lewis was born January 23, 1981 in Kansas City, KS to Cynthia Lewis and Wesley Roe. Lamon received his education at Van Horn high school, and later earned his Diploma. Lamon was last employed at the Census Bureaus until his early retirement due to health issues. Lamon was blessed with 3 beautiful children. Lamon lived his best life to the fullest! His love for his
mother; Cynthia was second to none as well as for his children. You could say Cynthia was the Bonnie to his Clyde, and Lamon was for certain the Clyde to her Bonnie!

Lamon loved football. In high school he played quarterback and was very good at it, seeing his Chiefs win Super Bowls was joy beyond compare, besides the love for his children; their well being was what his heart desired the most. And don’t forget, he
loved pizza and his Aunt Shelia’s cooking! Lamon departed this life on Sunday, October 22,
2023. His grandparents Ralph and Barbara Clark, and James Lewis precede him in death.

Lamon leaves to cherish his memories, Daughters; Naveah Trainer, Cyane Oliver, and his only son, Lamon Lewis Jr. His parents; Cynthia Lewis and Wesley Roe. His grandmother; Etheline Hill, Siblings; Ontario Lewis, and Terry Ashley. Uncles;
Allen Clark, and James Lewis Jr. Aunts; Gayl Lewis–Lawson, and Shelia Hooks. Nephews,
nieces, and a host of other relatives. Special mention: Wardell Hooks III (Cousin).

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday October 31, 2023 at 3:00 P.M.at Golden Gate Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC located at 2800 East 18th st. Kansas City, MO 64127.
