Larry Earl Thomas

Larry Earl Thomas was born on September 7, 1956, in Tallulah, Louisiana, to TJ Thomas and Jessie Mae Brown. He attended Las Vegas High School and later graduated from culinary school, where his passion for cooking blossomed. Larry went on to serve as an Executive Chef at Benilde Hall Rehabilitation Center, dedicating several years to his craft and the community he served.

Larry found love and partnership in Rose Thomas, and together they were blessed with four children. He took great joy in spoiling his grandchildren, cheering on the Raiders football team, and indulging in his love for vintage classic cars, fine dining, and old-school music. Some of his favorite artists included the Isley Brothers, Marvin Gaye, The Moments, and Earth, Wind & Fire. Larry was happiest when cooking, grilling, and spending cherished moments with his family.

Larry departed this life on September 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Mae Brown and TJ Thomas, and siblings Betty Diggs, Emma Nash, John Thomas, Johnnie Thomas, Georgia Thomas, and Eliza Bosley.

He leaves behind his devoted wife, Rose Thomas, and his beloved children: Sheena Stuckey, Montez Thomas, Rosierra Warren-Thomas, and Jhimisha Warren-Thomas. He is also survived by his stepmother, Shirley Thomas, siblings Rebecca Thomas, Shirley Nash, Linda MvGilbra, Tony Thomas, Michael Thomas, Diane Thomas, Carolyn Thomas, and Delores Williams, as well as 15 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
